AMIMONwas established in Israel in 2004 and is a manufacturer that develops products specializing in wireless image transmission technology using HDMI/SDI interfaces while leading the WHDI Consortium and developing WHDI (Wireless Home Digital Interface). Utilizing technology that wirelessly transmits high-resolution video with zero latency (Zero Latency)*, the company is fabless-owned and is engaged in product development and sales, from device and software development to finished products.
AMIMON was acquired by The Vitec Group plc (LSE: Symbol “VTC”) in November 2018, but is currently continuing its development and sales activities as part of the R&D group of The Vitec Group Creative Solution Company, and will continue to use the brand name “AMIMON”.
Wireless video transmission device “Connex” product overview
This is a 5GHz wireless video transmission device incorporating our own chipset and software. All Connex series devices have acquired the Radio Law (construction design certification) in Japan. In addition, the Connex Industrial series is compliant with the Unmanned Mobile Image Transmission System*, so it can be installed on drones and small helicopters.

2) Wireless repeat function is possible by updating the Connex series firmware (additional cost required).

• Zero Latency：
Less than 1 ms. This is the delay between wireless transmission and reception.
• Unmanned Mobile Image Transmission System:
Institutionalized in August 2018 as wireless equipment used for general business and drones. New frequencies in the 169 MHz, 2.4 GHz and 5.7 GHz bands have been established as main lines that enable long-distance transmission of high-quality video. The 169 MHz band is specified as transmitting power 10 mW, the 2.4 GHz band is transmitting power up to 1 W, and the 5.7 GHz band is transmitting power up to 1 W, and it is classified as a “mobile station land mobile station.”
