Established in 1998, Elite Semiconductor Microelectronics Technology Inc. is a Taiwan-based memory IC design company with head office located in Hsinchu Science Park. The company specializes in R&D, manufacturing, marketing and design service for a variety of specialty memory ICs and mixed signal products.
ESMT's memory products includes specialty DRAM, NAND Flash, NOR Flash and NAND/NOR based MCPs. When established, ESMT focused on specialty DRAMs tailored to PC peripherals, IA products, consumer products, optical- and communication devices, including FPM, EDO, SDRAM, DDR and Mobile SD/DDR. With the trend of memory demands and the availability of advanced process technology, ESMT later further developed DDR2, DDR3 and LP DDR2 products.
Since 2002, ESMT launched numerous SLC NAND flash products, ranging from 1Gb to 4Gb with parallel and serial interface, which are available from mass production. With the availability of NAND and LP DDR1/DDR2, ESMT introduced a full range of NAND based MCP and eMCP to fulfill the needs in Data Card, MBB (Mobile Broadband) and 3G/4G LTE modules, etc.
In June 2016, ESMT merged Eon and started to carry the wide range of Eon's NOR Flash products, from 1Mb up to 256Mb in both parallel and serial interface.
To serve the rising market demand for System-in-Package (SiP) and Multi-Chip-Package (MCP), ESMT has successfully established its Know-Good-Die (KGD) product line of above mentioned products.
